Fireswirl Appoints New Directors

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire) - Fireswirl Technologies Inc. (TSX VENTURE:FSW) is pleased to announce changes to its board of directors. Robert Pollock has resigned from the board and the company is grateful to Mr. Pollock for his contributions and guidance. The board has appointed two new directors, Ji Yoon and James C. Borkowski, to fill vacancies on the board. With these changes the company now has five directors of which three are independent of management.

Ji Yoon - Mr. Yoon brings 14 years of finance, accounting and public markets experience, having worked in the high technology, engineering, and distribution industries. He is presently Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of JER Envirotech International Corp. (TSX VENTURE:JER)(FRANKFURT:KFTB) and previously was Acting Chief Financial Officer and Controller for Taiga Building Products Ltd. (TSX:TBL). Mr. Yoon is a Certified Management Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a Business Diploma (Honours) from Lambton College of Applied Arts and Technology in Sarnia, Ontario and an MBA from Queen's University, Ontario. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and serves on the adjudicating board of the Certified Management Accountants Strategic Leadership Program.

James C. Borkowski - Mr. Borkowski has more than 15 years of experience in strategic planning and brand development. Since founding StonePoint Global Brands Inc. (TSX VENTURE:SPG) in 1992, as CEO and Chairman, Mr. Borkowski has been responsible for the implementation and control of operations, corporate development and new business opportunities, including new product and brand development. Mr. Borkowski has also acted as a director for several private and public companies in the resource and technology sectors.
