Normand Tremblay Appointed to National Research Council Canada

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 19, 2007) - The Honourable Jim Prentice, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the National Research Council Canada (NRC), today announced the appointment of Mr. Normand Tremblay to the Council.

Mr. Tremblay is the President of Normand Tremblay & Associes inc., a strategic management and project management company. Mr. Tremblay works with clients from all three levels of government as well as private and public biotechnology companies. Prior to launching his company, Mr. Tremblay worked for AEterna Zentaris Inc., a global biopharmaceutical company, where he served as Assistant to the President and Head of Management and then as Vice-President, External Affairs and Planning.
